The talented and dynamic Aurelia Mitchell Durant started working at 14, and hasn't stopped. A graduate of Temple University and Rutgers University School of Law, Aurelia embarked on a career centered around intellectual property law, concentrating on trademarks and copyrights. Since 2001 she has operated her own law office, and she has also been a successful entrepreneur in the music world. In addition to her activities as a practicing attorney and in assisting entertainers with legal matters through her entertainment management firm, Aurelia has served on the Board of Directors of several non-profit organizations. As both general counsel and as a a board member, she has been able to provide these organizations, including churches, arts organizations and community self-help associations, with a unique perspective and vital expertise regarding development as well as governance and regulatory policies. Today, Aurelia Mitchell Durant, Esq., practice by makes sure her clients answer YES to the question “Is Your Brand Protected.” Recognizing the power and importance of brands which are being built and strengthened every day by entrepreneurs, musicians, artists and other creative professionals, she founded AMD Group, which provides brand protection services in conjunction with and drawing upon the professional services and expertise which she delivers through her law firm.
